Metal Manufacturing Material Preparation Process Controller

The purpose of this qualification is to prepare a learner to operate as a Metal Manufacturing Material Preparation Process Controller. A Metal Manufacturing Material Preparation Process Controller controls the operational efficiency of the material preparation process, including operating and monitoring multi-functional machinery and equipment. Entry Requirements: • Level 3 with Mathematical Literacy. Or • A minimum of 4 years working experience within the metal manufacturing environment as a Material Preparation Operator.

• Conduct a risk assessment in the Metal Material Preparation process operations by identifying appropriate actions that deal with deviations and mitigate the associated risks.
• Prepare incoming material in a safe and quality controlled environment for the required downstream processes in a metal manufacturing plant.
