*Note on Payment Data: All online credit/debit card payments and Instant EFT transactions are handled securely by our integrated third-party payment gateways. i2Graduates does not store full credit card details or bank passwords on our servers.*
2. Purpose of Processing Personal Information
In terms of Section 11 of POPIA, we only process personal information where it is necessary, lawful, and relevant to a specific purpose. We use your data to:
Process, fulfill, and deliver your orders (including digital link generation within 1–3 business days and physical custom print runs within 7 days).
Create and maintain your secure personal account and "Digital Library" dashboard.
Respond to support queries, manage refund or technical claims, and provide real-time automated tracking data via SMS or email.
Send you crucial service notifications regarding QCTO curriculum updates, material modifications, or platform security issues.
Comply with South African legislative requirements, including tax invoicing (SARS) and training audit compliance standards.
Market our primary training solutions or new catalogue releases to you (only where you have explicitly opted in, or as permitted by law if you are an existing customer). You may opt out of marketing at any time.
3. Sharing and Disclosing Your Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We only share your information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our business and delivering services to you under strict confidentiality terms:
Courier & Logistics Partners: Sharing your name, physical address, and mobile number with providers like The Courier Guy, Pargo, or DSV strictly to facilitate nationwide physical material deliveries.
Technical Support Infrastructure: Cloud storage or platform engines supporting your secure digital links and digital asset delivery.
Communication & Chat Gateways: Relaying notifications or managing live support interactions via our official integrated WhatsApp widget.
Regulatory Bodies: Where required by law, we may disclose information to regulatory authorities, tax offices, or law enforcement bodies.
4. Security of Personal Information
In compliance with Section 19 of POPIA, we implement rigorous technical and organizational security measures to secure the integrity and confidentiality of personal information in our possession. These measures are designed to prevent loss, damage, unauthorized access, or accidental destruction of data.
While we use commercial best practices (including SSL encryption and secure databases), no internet transmission or electronic storage method is 100% secure. If a data breach occurs involving your personal information, we will notify you and the South African Information Regulator as soon as reasonably possible, as required by Section 22 of POPIA.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by South African law (e.g., for SARS tax record compliance for 5 years). Your digital asset purchase records are retained to maintain your lifetime account dashboard access to purchased libraries.
6. Your Rights Under POPIA
As a data subject in South Africa, POPIA grants you specific rights regarding your personal information. You have the right to:
Request Access: Confirm whether we hold personal information about you and request a free record or description of that information.
Request Correction/Destruction: Request that we correct, amend, or delete personal information that is inaccurate, irrelevant, outdated, incomplete, or misleading.

Direct Marketing Opt-Out: Object to or opt out of any processing of your data for the purposes of direct marketing.
