If a public body lodges a request, the public body must be acting in the public interest.

Requests in terms of PAIA shall be made in accordance with the prescribed procedures, at the rates provided. This manual also addresses our processing of personal information in terms of POPIA.

6. Protection of Personal Information (POPIA Section 51(1)(c))

We process personal information to fulfill learning material orders, maintain secure client libraries, process payments, route logistics, handle regulatory invoicing, and manage direct communications.

6.2 Categories of Data Subjects and Information Held

Customers / Training Providers: Names, contact details (email, phone number), physical billing/shipping addresses, payment processing IDs, and educational selections.

Service Providers / Partners: Names, business details, registration IDs, and financial operational indicators.

6.4 Planned Transborder Flows of Personal Information

Digital link allocations, database backups, or platform hosting protocols may route data across secured cloud infrastructure located outside of South Africa. We ensure these third-party cloud instances conform to strict data-protection frameworks aligned with POPIA requirements.

6.5 General Description of Information Security Measures

We use robust physical and technological safeguard layers—including database permission limits, SSL communication pathways, and encrypted access gates—to block data disruption or unlawful profiling.

7. Request Procedure

To request access to a record held by i2Graduates, the requester must use the prescribed Form 2 (available on the Information Regulator website).

The completed form must be sent to the Information Officer at legal@i2g.life.

The requester must provide sufficient detail on the request form to enable the Information Officer to identify the record and the requester.

The requester must identify the right that they are seeking to exercise or protect and provide an explanation of why the requested record is required for the exercise or protection of that right.

8. Prescribed Fees

PAIA provides for two types of fees: a request fee (a standard non-refundable fee paid before a request is considered) and an access fee (calculated to cover the costs of searching, reproducing, and preparing records). We will notify the requester of the exact prescribed fee amounts applicable before finalizing any retrieval steps.

9. Availability of the Manual

This Manual is available for inspection at our physical office space upon appointment, and is published on our digital platform at www.i2g.life.
