Metal Manufacturing Electrolysis Process Controller

The purpose of this qualification is to prepare a learner to operate as a Metal Manufacturing Electrolysis Process Controller. A Metal Manufacturing Electrolysis Process Controller controls the operational efficiency of the electrolysis process and the operation; and monitoring of multi-functional machinery and equipment. A qualified learner will be able to: • Execute activities related to electrolysis processes.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL): RPL for access to the external integrated summative assessment: Accredited providers and approved workplaces must apply the internal assessment criteria specified in the related curriculum document to establish and confirm prior learning. Accredited providers and workplaces must confirm prior learning by issuing a statement of result or certifying a work experience record. RPL for access to the qualification: Accredited providers and approved workplaces may recognise prior learning against the relevant access requirements. Entry Requirements: • Level 3 with Mathematical Literacy. Or • A minimum of 4 years working experience within the metal manufacturing environment as an electrolysis process operator.

• Conduct a risk assessment in the electrolysis process operations by identifying appropriate actions that deal with deviations and mitigate the associated risks.
• Demonstrate the knowledge to start, monitor, and control and stop the electrolysis processes sequentially.
• Demonstrate the ability to perform quality assurance checks according to specific procedures.
