Purpose

The purpose of this part-qualification is to prepare a learner to function as a Hospitality Laundry Assistant. A Hospitality Laundry Assistant, sorts, classifies, washes and irons linen and other garments in a commercial/ hospitality environment. Typical graduate attributes will include among others discipline, compassion, and dedication. A qualified learner will be able to: • Prepare dirty linen and other garments for cleaning. • Clean dirty linen and other garments.
